Our take
I tried the LG UltraGear 45-inch OLED and it is an immersive gaming experience. The 240 Hz refresh rate is incredibly smooth, and OLED makes everything look vibrant with deep blacks. The 3440x1440 resolution on a 21:9 ultrawide feels expansive, perfect for racing and flight sims. The 800R curve wraps around you nicely. Connectivity with HDMI 2.1 is great for consoles. However, the 45-inch size is large—it dominates a desk and some may find the pixel density a bit low for text work. Also, OLED burn-in is a concern for mixed use. For pure gaming, it is hard to beat.
